The Future Movement parliamentary bloc met under the leadership of former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora. The attendees of the meeting released several statements, among them:
The continuous involvement of Hezbollah in the battles in Syria, and the refusal of Hezbollah to submit those accused of assassinating former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, and Hezbollah's formation of armed militias under the title of Resistance Brigades, keep national life in Lebanon subject to turbulence, shakiness, and danger, and threaten Lebanon's national stability.
The Future parliamentary bloc also condemned the statements by Bashar al-Assad, in which he considered Jabal Mohsen, Tripoli (Lebanon), as the equivalent of a Syrian area, and they saw in that an escalation and interference in the internal affairs of Lebanon.
The Lebanese state must consider the Syrian ambassador in Lebanon a persona non grata. The state must also indict the Syrian officials whose involvement in the bombings of the Salam and Taqwa mosques has been confirmed. The state must also submit an urgent complaint to the Arab League to examine these repeated crimes, and also notify the United Nations Security Council about these two crimes and the investigations that have been conducted to this date.
