Of Masters and Their Slaves

"It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master." ―Ayn Rand

For numerous years now, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, mullah Hassan Nasrallah, has been cited by sufferers and political opponents to have infamously stated, If all the Jews gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of chasing them down around the world.

In fact, in his speech to Congress last week, Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, cited Nasrallah to have said exactly this much.

Nevertheless, Hezbollah's supporters and apologists in the West have always challenged the authenticity of the quotation and denied that Nasrallah has made such a statement.

Well, not anymore!

Somebody, somewhere, recorded the mullah's speech! And now it is available on YouTube for all to hear (voice only and in Arabic):

Hassan Nasrallah to his Hezbollah audience: "God … wants to save you from having to go to the ends of the world, for they [the Jews] have gathered in one place…"

The YouTube video was published by Yair Rosenberg who also wrote an accompanying article about it and Bibi Netanyahu's quotation of Nasrallah's anti-Semitic statement.

Rosenberg is a writer at Tablet and the editor of the English-language blog of the Israeli National Archives.
